I feel much better in my new saddle, though I do have to still concentrate on keeping my legs under me! Today my mental homework is to remember to be the leader for every movement, for instance, not letting her get into a trot, then telling her what rhythm I want. And also, I had an "aha" moment to keep things on the positive side. Instead of arguing with the reins and seat to get her to a larger circle, I actually just rode the larger circle, and she followed. It was a subtle difference, mostly a mental one, but it made my ride easier:)
Ground poles were added today and she handled them calmly, even if they weren't set for her stride.
I will post this week's homework soon!
